Greetings readers and bloggers. I'm always expanding my knowledge somehow whether it be with a new way of cooking, learning a new computer program, attempting a new craft, etc. So this past weekend, I learned how to create a video using Windows Movie Maker (I didn't even realize I had this program on my computer for the past four years). I thought I would take the time to create a slide show video with all my glass tile items that I've made and upload it to Youtube, which is also another first for me. I was successful! I enjoyed learning how to use the different effects and options with the program. Windows Movie Maker makes the process pretty easy and smooth for beginners. I even selected music to accompany my slide show. I'm still learning but for a first time video, I'm pretty proud of myself. After uploading the completed video to Youtube and sharing on it on my Facebook page somebody purchased one of my necklaces after they viewed it on the video. I'm pleased to say the least. I'm looking forward to making more slides/videos whether it be for personal or business.
My success reminds me of a quote by the Dalai Lama, "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door."
